It’s All About God

 

1 | Honor Him.   God is holy and we come into His presence with awe and humility because He is sovereign Lord. Worship is our opportunity to praise God with joy because we have been forgiven at the remarkable cost of His only Son, Jesus Christ (Psalm 145:1-7).

2 | Respect His Word.   Because God’s Word is eternal, perfect, and trustworthy, it shapes our beliefs and practices. We believe that studying and applying God’s Word revives the soul, gives joy to the heart, provides wisdom, and produces faith (Psalm 19:7-11).

3 | Rely on Him.   We acknowledge our brokenness and daily seek God’s will for our lives, turning to Him for strength and grace to meet life’s challenges (John 6:68).

4 | Follow Him.   We are committed to passionate discipleship, seeking God and His will, being led by the Holy Spirit through prayer, study, and obedience. We strive to be zealous in our daily service and generous in our giving (Mark 8:34).

5 | Live with Integrity.   We believe Christians should be known for their good character, dependability, honesty and strong work ethic. (Psalm 41:12).

 

And All About People

 

1 | Love People.   We respect and value every person as a unique creation of God. Seeing God’s image in each person, we believe in accepting our neighbors, right where they are, just as Christ accepts us (Genesis 1:27).

2 | Share the News.   Motivated by His love for us, we seek to share God’s mercy both with those who are nearby and those who live in distant lands (2 Corinthians 5:16-21).

3 | Cherish Families.   Marriage and family are sacred in God’s sight. Marriage covenants should be taken seriously. Husbands are to love and nurture their wives; wives should respect and support their husbands; parents are to love and raise their children to be respectful; and children are to honor and obey their parents (Ephesians 5:22-33; 6:1-4).

4 | Equip Believers.   We strive to be a community that prepares people of all ages for life and effective ministry, resulting in spiritual growth and Christian unity (Ephesians 4:11-16).

5 | Serve the Community.   We believe in ministering to our community’s physical and spiritual needs with compassion, providing a refuge in God’s love (Galatians 6:9-10).
